Our team

Karen Brown

Director, LLB

After finishing high school, Karen Brown began her legal career as an office junior at a large law firm in Hamilton. Karen has continued to work in the legal profession, making her way from an office junior, to a legal executive and now lawyer.

Earlier in her career, Karen took a short stint away from law to work on a dairy farm and also with the Ministry of Social Development. Upon returning to Hamilton, Karen obtained her LLB at the University of Waikato while working with Paul Clark Lawyers. In 2016 Karen joined Paul Clark in partnership and the practice became known as Clark & Brown Lawyers.

Karen's practice covers a wide area of law, with particular emphasis on conveyancing, wills, trusts, relationship property and estates.

Outside of work, Karen enjoys spending time with her husband and three children; a menagerie of animals; and coaching a gymnastics team.
